It is with both great joy and deep sorrow that we introduce you to our sweet babe, Cypress Abbitt, who left our world April 6, 2018. Cypress was named after a tree from Job 14:7, At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. It is well with our souls.
“On April 6, they scheduled an emergency ultrasound to find your heartbeat, but it wasn’t there. Nothing but silence.. harsh, deafening silence. They searched not once, but twice. I had known, though. I had known that we wouldn’t be hearing it. I knew you were gone and this was the beginning of an end. The end of your life- the ever so little one you had. But oh, for those ten weeks you were so alive to me. I believe that, though we miss you here on Earth, you are in a far better place and in the best of company with Grandma Cathy and God. Thank you for the joy of your presence and life. You are cherished and will never be forgotten. I love you my darling , baby Cypress.”
